A learning and support plan is built around the learner's needs, goals, interests and current abilities, with academic, practical, social and personal development goals.
Learning & Skill Development
Learners take part in structured lessons, projects, creative activities and practical training. The balance of academic and practical development depends on the learner's age and goals.
Ongoing Support
Teachers, mentors and support professionals monitor each learner's progress. Plans are adjusted when a learner needs a different method, more support or a new challenge.
Progress Reviews
Progress is measured through more than tests. It includes completed projects, growing confidence, participation, attendance, practical skills, communication and the ability to work more independently.
